Dev Was born on 25th December 1982. His full  name is Deepak Adhikari.  Dev is a Bengal film actor in India. He is also known as a producer, singer, and film writer. Recently Dev has joined politics. Dev’s Father worked in Mumbai. That’s why Dev spent his adolescence in Mumbai. He went to Bandra school there. Dev received his diploma in Computer Engineering from Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University in Pune. He also completed a diploma in acting. He came to Kolkata from Mumbai to enter the universe of acting. Dev was born in a small village named Mahisha near Keshpur in  West Bengal. His parents’ names are Gurudas Adhikari and Mousumi Adhikari. His father used to work in a food catering service. Mother was a housewife. Dev’s nickname was Raju. He lived with his uncle in Chandrakona and his sister Deepali during his childhood. In the latter part of his childhood, he moved to Mumbai and attended Purushottam High School in Bandera, where he was a good student. His sister Deepali Adhikari married Anirban on August 9, 2015.

Dev’s Film career life started in 2005. He devoted himself as an actor in Bangla cinemas. Dev made his debut in the 2005 film “Agnishapath” directed by Prabir Nandi and played against Rachana Banerjee. The film did not perform well at the box office. At this time, the film I Love You directed by Ravi Kinnagi is being developed by Shree Venkatesh Films. Dev met the producer and won the lead actor. Despite the financial success of “I Love You”, Dev did not play any other roles for approximately 14 months. He went to Mumbai, devoted himself to improving himself, learning dance, and trained under the guidance of combat choreographer Aejaz Gulab.
